Tamara has a passion for living a healthy, active lifestyle and helping others do the same. This led her to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Wilfred Laurier University. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, graduating cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
In her youth, Tamara studied martial arts and competed in dance! Her love of working out inspired her to become a bodybuilder with one competition under her belt and more to come in the 2025 season! Her education plus experience in these activities gave her an appreciation for how the human body moves and how much better life can be when everything is functioning optimally and feeling good.
Tamara has experience in treating a variety of conditions from headaches, neck pain, low back pain as well as upper and lower extremity concerns. She enjoys working with people of all ages and is eager to help in any way that she can. She utilizes an evidence-based approach when developing treatment plans with her patients including adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy (IASTM, shockwave, laser, kinesiotaping), patient education and lifestyle modifications. Tamara is also certified in Acupuncture which can help patients who experience chronic pain, sports-related injuries and more! She aims to decrease patient’s pain but places emphasis on improving function that match each patient’s personal goals. You can find her in the Stratford, St. Mary’s and Mitchell Health & Wellness Centre providing patient centred and result oriented care.
